About

Feel Loudly is a long-running creative practice spanning music, writing, teaching, and participatory art projects, all delivered through a DIY ethos.

Feel Loudly is predominantly Nathan Ward, a two-time former teacher and “just a guy” living in New York City. He formerly made music under “Natty Ward” before running out of things for him to say. Nathan has a master’s in education policy (where he also focused on public art and aesthetic theory) and a bachelor’s in some random things. After time spent in strategy consulting and teaching, he currently works in tech, training AI models on effective image and video generation, while still continuing to do a lot of test prep tutoring. Nathan also enjoys playing keys in a 70s folk rock band, grabbing 2-3 beers on the Lower East Side, blasting audiobooks too fast, and running around with his husky.
