“Transformative Pedagogy: Creating 21st Century Equity through Social-Change Innovation and Collective Impact in Education Systems: A Critical Practicum” was developed in 2019 as my final project for a public art course. Fascinated and frustrated by academic buzzwords, I used a predictive text bot fed with the course catalog to design a fictitious course + course preview that mimicked institutional language. I helped us interrogate how meaning becomes obscured through jargon and abstraction, and how this can alienate general audiences. Check it all out at these links:
